Latest Thinking in Search Engine Optimisation?

Just wanted to add my current thoughts as to the best way to achieve a high Google organic ranking (SEO) for your web site.

Is it really as simple as that? Well, reading through all the latest releases from Google regarding ranking, this seems to be exactly what they are looking for and trying to achieve.

So instead of packing your home page text with the same keyword over and over again, try using synonyms, and in that way your text will appear much more natural. 

Remember as well, SEO takes time - it is not an immediate science, so don't expect to see a difference straight away. But if you follow this advice, Google should, in time, rank you higher!
